Job description About the role As a Biomedical Engineer - Sales (Government Tender Specialist) you will play a vital role in expanding our presence in the healthcare sector by targeting government procurement opportunities. You will leverage your biomedical engineering background and sales skills to establish and nurture relationships with government agencies, manage tender processes, and secure contracts for the supply of medical equipment. Key Responsibilities: Government Tender Management:Identify and analyze government procurement opportunities, including tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs), related to medical equipment and healthcare technology. Develop a comprehensive understanding of tender requirements, specifications, and compliance standards. Client Engagement:Cultivate and maintain relationships with government agencies, procurement officers, and key decision-makers. Act as the primary point of contact for government clients, providing expert advice on medical equipment solutions and specifications. Sales Strategy:Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue through successful participation in government tenders. Collaborate with the sales team to align government tender opportunities with broader sales initiatives. Bid Preparation:Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals in response to government tenders, ensuring compliance with all requirements. Collaborate with the technical team to tailor proposals to meet specific client needs. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with government agencies, including pricing, delivery schedules, and service agreements. Ensure contracts adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
