Senior Chiller Technician

Doha | Maven Trading & Installation WLL

Job Description

Key responsibilities: • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on chiller systems to ensure peak performance. • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements. • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems in chiller systems, including electrical and mechanical components. • Implement effective repair strategies to resolve issues promptly and efficiently. • Assist in the installation of new chiller systems, adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines. • Participate in system upgrades and retrofits to enhance performance and energy efficiency. • Collaborate with junior technicians and support staff to coordinate project tasks and ensure timely completion. • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge. • Interact professionally with clients to address inquiries, explain repair procedures, and provide outstanding customer service. • Communicate project progress and ensure client satisfaction.

Job Requirments

Qualifications: • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC-related vocational training or certification is a plus. Experience: • A minimum of 10-15 years of hands-on experience in chiller system maintenance and repair. • Proven expertise in troubleshooting and diagnosing chiller system issues. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in operating and maintaining various chiller systems, including absorption and centrifugal chillers. • Strong understanding of HVAC principles, refrigeration cycles, and electrical systems. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively. • Commitment to always adhering to safety guidelines and industry standards.
